Kesha returns to Iowa after her headlining 80/35 performance last summer. In collaboration with US Cellular’s 30th anniversary of being in Cedar Rapids, they’ve invited her to perform at a free concert. Tickets are available on US Cellular’s website and must be downloaded and printed before the concert.
In an interview with KCCI, Mike Adams, US Cellular’s director of sales for Iowa and Nebraska said, “We are thrilled to have Kesha, a global superstar, for this free event as we celebrate 30 years in Cedar Rapids”.
Kesha’s recent release of her album, Praying, topped the charts as soon as it hit them. With anthems like ‘Woman’ and toe-tappers like ‘Boots’, it was no surprise that it made its way to number one on Billboards Top 200 and quickly became her second number one album in the country, following Animal, in 2010. The album is certified Gold in America, and platinum in multiple other countries.
